Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Costa Cálida Legal. You can contact me at luis@costacalidalegal.com. I process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI).
Contact form and enquiries
The details you send through the contact form, or by email, phone or WhatsApp, are used only to reply to your enquiry and, if you instruct me, to prepare my engagement. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for the box you tick on the form, your consent.
Form submissions are received through Formspree, Inc., which acts as my data processor and may process data in the United States with the safeguards required by the GDPR. I keep enquiries only for as long as needed to deal with them, or for the periods required by my professional obligations if you become a client.
Cookies and Google Ads
I use the Google Ads tag (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC) to measure whether my adverts lead to enquiries. Only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner does it set advertising cookies and share data such as your IP address, device and browser information and the pages you visit with Google for that purpose. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 22(2) LSSI). Google may transfer data to the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The Google tag loads on every page in a restricted mode (consent denied): if you click “Reject”, or do not choose, it sets no advertising cookies and does not personalise adverts, although Google still receives limited technical information such as your IP address and the address of the page you visit. You can withdraw your consent at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Fonts and images
This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, and the photograph on the home page from Unsplash. To deliver them, your browser connects to the servers of those providers, which receive your IP address. No cookies are set for this purpose.
Recipients
I do not sell your data. It is only shared with the service providers mentioned above and with my hosting provider, who act as processors, or where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw any consent you have given, by writing to luis@costacalidalegal.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy if the way this website works changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
